Mamta Apparao : Director

Mamta Apparao, with a rich experience of 25 years in various fields in business, and a keen eye for design owing to her fine arts background, felt inclined to start a business in jewelry. She belongs to the illustrious family of Ruias of Essar, one of the largest Industrial houses of India. Her association with Mr. Colin made perfect timing, and thus resulted in the establishment of Kama Jewelry in 1996. As Chairperson of Kama Jewelry, she attends shows for marketing, and handles other aspects such as company policies, finance, etc.


Mr. Murari Gandhi : Chief Production Officer  

 A Commerce graduate from HR College, Mumbai, Murari had his own business in construction and manufacturing of electrical fixtures prior to joining Kama. Sensing bleak future prospects in his business, he joined Kama Jewellery at the time of its commencement. Having no background in diamonds, he was trained in the trade by Mr. Colin Shah. As Vice-President of Kama, he is in-charge of all aspects of Administration and Production.


Mr. Pradip Shah : Chief Finance Officer

With an educational qualification in Chartered Accountancy, Mr. Pradip Shah has a rich work experience of 28 years, with 13 years specifically in the gem and jewelry industry. In his current role as CFO, he handles finance, accounts and taxation in the organization.


Mr. Binay Goenka : VP-Sales

Having completed his B.Sc. Mathematics (Honors), Mr. Goenka, went on to pursue Management from NIS, and Systems Management from Aptech. He has been with Kama from 2001, and handles domestic as well as international marketing.


Ami Gokani : VP-Sales

A Commerce graduate specializing in Advertising & Sales Promotion by educational qualification, Ms Gokani, who has been in Kama from 2002, she handles the back-end customer support, customer queries, client meetings & order processing.


Khokhan Mandal : Production - Floor Manager

Mr. Mandal has a rich experience of 25 years in jewelry and specializes in diamond settings. He supervises the entire process of production at Kama.
 
Netra Kothadia : Head Designer

Netra has graduated as a jewelry designer from NIFT and has been with Kama since 2007. Her key responsibility includes R & D on trends, designing as per the client’s requirements, experimenting with new designs and concepts, etc.
