Our Infrastructure

We deem our infrastructure as one of our greatest strengths. Our current capacity is around 20000 pieces a month manufactured in 2 factories in an 18000 square feet area. We have our Diamond Office, with 50 employees at Opera House, Mumbai where the buying, sorting and fluting of diamonds takes place.

In keeping with our core value of managing change, we have the latest technology in production. Most of the processes are computerized and function on an ERP package.

For casting we have the most durable and efficient Japanese ‘Yasui’ machines, separately, for casting wax injectors and gold and platinum. We employ Computer-Aided Designing (CAD) which facilitates better visualization, better communication of designs and reduces repetition of work. Moreover, the Computer-Aided-Model (CAM) outputs of CAD on the Viper, one of the best in the world, have precision levels as high as 25 microns.
Kama takes pride in its versatility to create the more difficult settings like the European hand Pave, Invisible settings and Bezel set.
Kama also has expertise in the art of wax setting where diamonds are pre-set before casting, thereby increasing productivity and output manifold.
To acquire as well as upgrade proficiency levels, our workers are trained by experts from Germany and Italy. Un-Skilled workers, who are recruited, are given training for 6 months, to adapt them to our style of working. It is a matter to be noted that 10% of our work-strength are deaf and mute.
Our website, too, meets our objective of global association, through which we initiate contacts with clients abroad.
